Welcome to the first showcase page of 2000. But wasn't the world supposed to end last week? That's the impression I got from reading all the junk mail. There are two purposes for writing this particular showcase. The first is to give a glimpse of the next product we will offer, and the second is to recruit a few beta testers. Before we get into more of this, lets begin with a chart:
This is a 5 minute chart of the S&P on Wednesday of this last week. Those of you familiar with these tools will recognize the Exhaustion Bars and MA_Momentum. The thick red line is our new product. It is actually a cycle forecast that has been computed the day before. This means that we knew what it looked like before the opening bell. What you see is actually the inverted version of the forecast. Although not perfect, price followed this line fairly closely throughout the day. Combined with momentum divergences and Exhaustion Bars, we were given some very good trades.

The forecast gave us a general idea of when the high would come, and MA_Momentum/ExBars nailed it down within one bar. This forecast gives a general idea of what's coming during the next day, and the other tools zero in on the perfect time to make a trade. We've been watching this tool for over six months now, and are very impressed with its ability to call turning points.
Now back to what we said earlier. We are planning on offering these forecasts as an email subscription. Each night we will run our software to generate the forecasts, and then send the next day's forecast out to all of our subscribers. Due to the way that TradeStation is set up, this has turned out to be a major undertaking. It is very difficult to get TradeStation to plot a forecast, and we have been forced to make special helper software to get this done. We've been beta testing it now for a short while, but could use 2-3 more testers as there are a few glitches that need to be worked out in the whole process.
