Wave59
can connect to the Photon execution platform, which
it can then use as a data feed. The benefit of using
a broker feed to power your charts is that you do
not have to pay hefty exchange fees as you would when
using a standard data feed service.
The
Photon platform only works with electronic futures
markets, so it is limited in scope. However, it is
the fastest data feed we've ever tested, so if you
happen to trade the ES or ER markets then it's definitely
something to look at!
Setting
Wave59 up to work with Photon requires two steps:

Photon
doesn't provide historical data, so you will
need a special subscription to IQFeed so that
Wave59 can build charts correctly. DTN has agreed
to give Wave59 users special pricing of only
$25/month for this history package, a significant
savings over the standard real-time fees. To
