Summary:
an update to a script i posted last year. i added some funnctions and wanted to share it with the community from whom i have learned so much in my short time as a w59er. any feedback on its performance is appreciated. happy trading!
The system either uses the 9-5 count signals and/or one of the exhaustion bar
studies to generate entry signals, or it calculates and plots either two or three
moving averages to generate entry and exit signals when they cross. Using the
moving average crossing triggers, there are two setups under which the system will
generate an entry signal with several exit options. When an entry occurs, a stop-loss
order is also occurs. After entering the market, the code generates exit signals
following the input parameters and reports the trade result on the chart. This system
is based on Van Tharp's expectancy concept and has the option of real-time auto
trading (for IB account holders) based on the percentage-risk-position-sizing model. .
The code also has the option to automatically iterate parameters on past data sets
and provide a detailed summary of the results corresponding to each combination.

| marwan ayash | Thanks for posting your script, it sounds very interesting from the description.
When I downloaded the .tr59 file, I opened it and the transfer manager flash screen comes on and then disappears - and I have no new indicators under my "technical" menu.
Is anyone else having a similar problem?
What is the name of the indicator that I should be looking for under the "technical" menu?
btw, the .tr59 file was 1.59kb which appears to be very small considering the amount of code the description of the script suggested would be involved. |
