Version 1.4 & 1.5

Jan 29

I’m pleased to announce that both Wave59 1.4 and 1.5 went out this week, as we continue to make Wave59 as powerful and effective as possible. Here’s a list of what’s new:

  • Wave59 can request multiple symbols on one chart; done by entering a comma-separated list of symbols. The additional symbols won’t be visible, but will be available to create intermarket-based scripts using the new “GetData” QScript function.
  • Bid Volume, Ask Volume now available.
  • Gann Squares have been enhanced. Can plot both upwards and downwards squares at once, extra controls for angles, styles. These enhancements require resaving any old profiles built with previous versions.
  • Square of Nine Levels drawing tool added, and can plot both time and price targets.
  • Card Cycles support/resistance level tool now works on Forex!
  • Holiday list now applies to intraday charts as well.
  • New programmers’ SDK available. The addition of bid_volume, etc, has changed the internal data struct. If you directly request bar information via your custom DLL, you MUST rebuild your DLL using the new SDK in order to avoid errors!
  • Improved W59's logic when determining whether or not to re-request historical data. This makes changes to the chart scale incredibly fast.
  • Fixed known issues including:
o   Final bar on the chart not always building properly.
o   Some ticks with incorrect time stamps inserted into the historical data arrays.
o   Drawing Object Inspector caused access violations when manipulating some drawing objects.
o   More than one drawing tool could get deleted on a single mouse click.
o   Indicators on Daily charts now update properly when the market has closed.
o   QScript debugger menu now fully functional.
o   Improved error handling for charts using mathematical combinations of multiple symbols.

Happy Trading!
Earik
